Food Co-op

Went and visited my friend today who works at the Davis Food Co-op. The Co-op is an "all-natural" grocery store, so you find a lot of weird stuff here. Including these delicious frozen pizzas, yummm.

And along with weird stuff comes weird people. I usually don't shop here too often. The people kinda creep me out and the food is pretty expensive. But some people love the co-op and their selection of natural and healthy foods. They have a lot of good lunch options if you are looking for something healthy. They have a full deli, salad bar and a hot food item bar. I would definitely recommend checking it out at least once, they have a lot of items here that the common grocery stores don't have.

This is the entrance to the store. I admit this is probably the worst picture I have ever taken for the blog. But in my defense I was on my bike in the middle of the street trying to take this picture without getting too many weird looks or getting hit by a car. But at least it shows how well vegetated the front of the store is. They probably grow some of their own vegetables right outside. Can't get much more local than that.
