Got back on the bus early this morning to travel to the magical Isle of Skye. On our first stop of the morning our bus driver decided to give us a wake up call by making everyone dip their faces into the river of youth. I was promised to stay young and beautiful forever so of course I did it.
On our next stop I filled my mouth with water from a magical waterfall and then spit it on a magical rock and was promised to have a wish come true. So apparently Scotland has just made all of my dreams come true. Well, except for seeing the fairy pools because this was actually the only thing I wanted to see in the Isle of Skye and we skipped this on our tour. So note to self, one day I will have to come back here and when I do I have the find the fairy pools.
I shouldn't be too sad though because I did get to visit the beautiful Eilean Donan Castle twice today. A picture of the castle is below. Apparently a woman still lives at the top of it but I'm not sure if that is actually a true story. I feel like most of what these people say is just made up. For example, kilt rock. A giant sat on it and it left the imprint of his kilt on a giant craag? Please.
