Went on THE WORST field trip of all this year so far, and I really hope they don't get even worse from here. For the second time in a row during a site visit, someone ended up in the hospital. Architecture is no joke in this city.
Of course it had to be the hottest day of the year so far during our lovely hike through the concrete jungle of Downtown Los Angeles. I really could have gone without seeing "the greatest views of the city's freeways."
We ended our field trip with one less than we started with at Tree People, which I was very excited about because I thought we were going to learn about trees. But of course not, we only talked about how LA has no water and basically we are all screwed and I didn't even get to see a tree.
Luckily they had this really cool mini umbrella chandelier above the table which I just stared at during the entire presentation. Can't wait for another great field trip next week, I just hope I am not the one to end up in the hospital.
