Northstar Park

Today shaped up to be a pretty nice day in D-ville. While I still had to scrape ice off my car this morning, the sun was shining and there was no fog!

I found a lot of people out enjoying the lovely weather in Northstar Park. I was suprised by the number of people out exercising still at the end of January! I guess most are a lot better at keeping their resolutions than I am. Northstar Park is a really nice part of Davis. Heavily used by birdwatchers, sports players and outdoor enthusiasts there is always something to do here. I myself like to just sit by the pond and watch the birds, or go on the play structure. You might think this pond would be a great place to cool off on a hot Davis day, but be warned:

Like most of the other bodies of water in Davis this pond is probaby radioactive. During good weather they have fountains going that are fun to look at, but don't get too close when its windy. Wait? Aren't there birds that swim in this pond? They can't read.
