Pinkberry

The Davis Pinkberry (located in the Davis Commons) is the currently the 5th and newest frozen yogurt place in Davis. During the period of frozen yogurt city takeover there were 7 located in Davis, but they are dropping like flies. Having a frozen yogurt place on every block is a little bit excessive, especially when we only have 4 Starbucks and even fewer McDonalds. Do we really need 7 frozen yogurt stores? Anyways, even though Pinkberry is a chain store, (and I feel horrible about this) it is my favorite froyo place in town.

They only have a few yogurt flavors but it definitely tastes the best and in my opinion, the healthiest. But I am really no expert on that subject. To try for yourself this place is easy to get a sample of all the flavors and then peace out without actually spending money. I recommend this method if you are shopping for your favorite frozen yogurt store (or if you are a cheap college student). If you do decide to purchase something, toppings are not self serve. The lady (or man) behind the counter lets you decide what you want and then they put it on for you. This limits the number and amount of toppings you can add, but it also keeps one from adding a whole bunch of candy and crap to your otherwise "healthy" yogurt.
