Art Center

Dang! I almost made it through an entire week, but I completely forgot to update yesterday. I guess that leaves some room for improvement this week.

This is the Davis Art Center, located on the corner of West Covell Blvd. and F Street. You would think that the art center could have a decent paint job. This just might be the ugliest building in all of Davis. I hate to think of what the art on the inside looks like...

But not to degrade it too much, the art center has been here since 1960. They hold classes year round for people of all ages in subjects such as photography, dance, multimedia, weaving and many others. They have frequent art sales and hold theatrical perfomanes on the outside deck. The art center is a pretty cool place to come if you can get past the pastel colors. I remember coming here when I was about 6 years old and making all my christmas presents in one of their classes. So, if you are looking for a way to save money on all your gifts next year I suggest it.
