Ted the corpse flower started blooming on June 23rd, and will only stay open for 48 hours max! The corpse flower only blooms about once every 7 years, so apparently this is a big deal.
Ted lives in a greenhouse on the UCD campus, and I literally had to wait in line for 30 minutes just to view it and smell it. Photos were taken on my camera phone, so the quality might be subpar.
