This is what the Borders looks like now. It was painful for me to even come in here because this is not how I want to remember the store. They are literally trying to sell everything you can see including all the furniture. This is also the first blog picture that I have gotten yelled at for taking. I wasn't being very sly, but some lady comes up and says "Ma'am you can't take pictures of our store!" to which I replied "well, its not going to be a store much longer." It makes sense though, all these workers are losing their jobs so it is understandable for them to be a little grumpy.
Whats left of the cafe. Now permanently closed, its a holding spot for all the furniture that is being sold. Looks like a pretty nice desk there.
And lastly the new children's section. Closed off and stuffed with more furniture. The poor children must be so confused.
Even though everything is being sold at a discount, the prices are still way higher than anything you can find at target or amazon. Probably why the store is going out of business in the first place. But I still made my final purchase at this borders the other day and will keep my receipt forever. Still unsure of when the store will actually be closed for good, but when it does you can be sure that I will be raiding the dumpsters looking for free stuff.
Bye, bye Borders. Thanks for the great memories.

Oh no. This was my favorite place to hang out. I miss Davis.
