Octobrewfest

I ran in the third annual Octobrewfest run in Davis last night. This was a really fun event that I never knew existed before I signed up for it a month ago. There was a 5K, a 10K and also a half marathon option all heading off from community park. The two shorter races started at 6pm and after you were done running you could partake in the Octoberfest activities right in the park, which of course I did. All runners got a free beer and you could also buy food from Sudwerks at the event. There was really good live music and a few tents handing out some free stuff or information.

Overall I had a really good time, the weather was absolutely perfect last night and I finished my race with a new personal best. And a free beer. So what's not to love?
