First of June

We made it to June 1st! This was a momentous occasion today, not only because it was the first of the month, but also because I hosted a very sacred event in the Davis community that only rolls around about once every 10 years. Yupp that is correct, today I held our family garage sale. 

Crap, crap, so much crap! Luckily this picture was taken at the beginning of the day and I was relieved of most of this crap by the end. I ended up making quite a large profit and learned a lot about retail sales. But mainly that children aren't interested in toys and games anymore because they all have iPads which are soooo much cooler. And who needs to ever buy a book when they have a kindle? Really garage sales just aren't what they used to be anymore. 

I spent a lot of time preparing and woke up at 5 am today to get everything together and survived the scorching heat that the first of June brought, so how did I reward myself? Margaritas.
