I think I went blind but it was really pretty. Didn't get any good photos of course but it was very nice to witness. People in LA got really into this too. My neighbor was outside with his telescope for about 3 hours looking at the moon, or in my windows not sure which. I sat outside in my lawn chair for about an hour and a lot of people in the neighborhood were out. Next time there's some sort of an eclipse I will have to go to the Griffith Observatory and see if there is any difference looking at it through a telescope.
