Color Theory

I seem to remember when finals week only lasted well, a week! Why has this been going on for a month now? I realized that at the moment of posting this I have been working for 24 hrs straight. Well that's my excuse for not posting for a few days, because I can't really keep track of what day it is anyways. I haven't been taking pictures of anything lately because I haven't been out of studio, but at around 3am this picture saved my sanity.

I have been working on the pattern for my facade and the colors for weeks now, and finally decided on these last night. Once I finally went to use them I realized that I had somehow deleted the file with my sample colors. But luckily I had taken this picture to send to my TA and it saved me probably hours of work trying to choose appropriate colors.

One thing I have learned this semester is never ever do a project with color. People have so many different opinions on colors and it is impossible to please everyone's tastes. And it costs about twice as much to print in color compared to black and white! I have decided to go with the blues and purples for the majority of the project and use reds as an accent color inside of my courtyard. I'm sticking to that because there is not enough time to change it now!
