Sketch a day

I have made it my resolution this year to finally learn how to sketch. I think I can draw on the computer and I can hand draft when I'm really trying but I am absolutely horrible at sketching. Luckily my sister got me a sketching journal for Christmas where you are supposed to sketch every single day for a year to see your progress. So far I haven't been doing so well, I've only done about half of the days in January but I have been enjoying my nightly sketches with this sleepy pup.

I'm trying to get on a better routine to do it every single day so I can finally get better at drawing. Hopefully I will see myself improving throughout the year. If I ever get a sketch that looks decent I might post it on here.
