The local newspaper, The Davis Enterprise puts on a contest each year to find the best holiday light displays. After the judging and selection process takes place a map showing of all the best houses is distributed with the paper. This way, people who want to drive around and look at Christmas lights don't have to search aimlessly and look at a bunch of lame houses with no lights (Cough, El Macero). Unfortuantely I do not subscribe to the Davis Enterprise so I have no idea where the award winning houses are. Instead, I just drive around Davis and when I find I house I like I stop and take a picture.
So now that you know the background here is todays house, located on Hoopa Place in South Davis.
I also found these pengiuns in the neighbors yard and I think they are pretty cool.
