The Night Before Christmas

This display won "best house" in the annual Davis Enterprise contest. It is a part of Candy Cane Court located on Henri Crt. in Wildhorse. Candy Cane Court consists of an entire culdesac of houses that all put a lot of effort into their lights. They probably feel pretty obligated to since they won "best neighborhood" 6 years in a row. They obviously don't want anyone else to out-do that record.

The winning house is located at the very end of the culdesac. The entire street is a great place to visit to get into the holiday spirit. When I have visited the neighbors are out enjoying fire pits in their driveways and the kids are running all over the street. Some nights there are refreshments served and local musicians playing holiday music.

The residents also collect food for STEAC so if you visit Candy Cane Court remember to bring a can along!
