Bike Posts
You might be thinking "Hey, its a picture of a post" but no, rest assured that this is not a just a post. It was a post just like this one where I had my second very traumatizing bike accident. It was a brisk summer morning. I can't remember where I was biking, but I remember that it was cold. Why? Because I was biking with no hands while trying to zip up my jacket to keep me warm. I came upon the bike post and thought that keeping my hands on my jacket zipper was way more important than using my hands to steer myself through the posts. So to make a long story short I ended up crashing right into the post. Luckily I was not injured, and my bike suffered no long term injuries either. So the story has a happy ending.
There are posts like this one seen all over Davis, on the greenbelts, nears school... pretty much everywhere. There is one post that I know of in particular that has a geocache inside of it. So if you are really dedicated you can go around lifting these out of the ground until you find the right one.
