Pirate Park

Today I woke up completely jealous because all my family in Texas got a snow day and I was stuck at work. But then I went outside and started enjoying the sun and non-freezing temperatures, so I think they are the ones who should be jealous. :)

This is Pirate Park, located just north of Alhambra Drive on Atlantis Drive. This is an awesome playground for kids of any age. In fact, I can probably argue that I like this park more now than I did as a little kid, but the little boy in the picture seemed to be having plenty of fun. The park features a pirate ship complete with a steering wheel, lookout points and plenty of things the play on. There is also a swingset and those little chair things on springs in the front of the picture. Those are probably the most fun because if you weigh over 50 pounds it feels like they are just going to snap underneath you, but that hasn't happened yet!
