It rained the entire day today! I was already running late to work this morning and when I get there, there is not a single spot in the entire parking lot. I drove around for 30 minutes to find a spot and was very late to work. I want the sun back!
This is Rainbow City park located in Community park near the Art Center. This is a really cool play structure made mostly of wood. It was constructed by local volunteers, so there is nothing pre-fabricated about it. Definitely a hit with the children in Davis. Today not so much though since it was completely soaked! I had a lot of fun here as a kid, and actually still do. This is a fairly big structure with lots of things to do so no kid should get bored!
There are rumours that a family of rats live under Rainbow City. So if you bring your kids here at night just be careful.
