Back in March my bicycle was brutally stolen while I was at work. A picture of the crime scene is below. This was a very sad day for me because my bike and I had spent almost every day together since I first purchased it back in the 9th grade. I have since spent months searching for my friend but recently I finally decided it was time to give up and move on.
A few days ago I purchased a "new" bike from one of my friends who is graduating. Although nothing like my old bike we are so far getting along great and I am happy to get to ride my bicycle again. There really is no better feeling than riding your bike around on the perfect spring day. Try it and you will see what I mean.
7 days until graduation...
I had my bike stolen a couple years back. I was devastated. I've actually heard that a bike rack is one of the worst placed to lock a bike, since people don't look twice if they see someone fiddling with a bike on a rack, and that it's a much safer bet to lock to a pole, where it would attract more attention. I actually took it to the next level though - my replacement bike was a Montague bike. I don't think I ever have to worry about it being stolen, since it is a folding bike, and I can usually just take it inside with me.
