Solar Eclipse

The solar eclipse could be viewed in Davis today right around 6:30pm. I'm still blind from trying to stare at the sun, but it was very cool to see. My favorite part of the eclipse was looking at all of the shadows it casted. The tree shadows looked especially neat, as seen in this picture of my parking lot below. Everything had two shadows and took on the shape of the eclipse. I have never experienced an eclipse before so I thought it was all very cool, especially how it made everything outside look so much darker and dim. I'm glad I got to witness it and I hope my eyes will return to normal soon.
