The Lucky Run

This morning was the annual "Lucky Run," a St. Patrick's themed race through Davis. I got up earlier than I have been in months to go run with a few thousand other people. What is wrong with me? Lucky enough the weather was beautiful, much unlike the Turkey Trot back in November (never again...)

Thus with such great weather there was high attendance and these are all the people lined up at the start.What an enthusiastic bunch!

There was a sea of green throughout the race, I guess a lot of people didn't want to get pinched. Luckily I will have time to wash my race shirt and wear it again on actual St. Patrick's day because its not for another week....


Here is a view of the finish line (after I had crossed) and people are a lot more enthusiastic here due to all the free stuff and food waiting on the other side... that makes it all worth it.
