After I finished my travels to Japan and the rest of my studio class I was free for the summer!
Unfortunately, my summer break was one week long. But during that one week I took advantage of my freedom and spent a little time at the beach, at little time at art museums, a little time at Universal Studios and a little bit of time with this weirdo.
It was a good bit of time off and since I had already spent a month in Japan I didn't feel the need to get away anywhere. But after the short one week I started my new job on campus. I got to TA the new students who were coming into the school for their two week software workshop before school started. We got to orient them to the software and the fabrication labs on campus and it was a lot of fun to meet the new students who would be starting at our school in the fall. After another two short weeks of teaching it was time to start school again!
