Guinness Factory

So we all made it on the plane and instantly fell asleep which was a very good thing because flights on Ryan Air are insane. The tickets are super cheap because they constantly throw ads at you and attempt to get you to buy stuff whenever they can. So the flight attendants walk up and down the aisles practically throwing stuff at you for the entire journey. This flight, however was only 50 minutes so they were having to run up and down the aisles to sell everything in time. So I'm so happy I slept through all this and didn't notice a thing. And I don't think they got any money out of me.

We landed in Dublin and were so incredibly thankful. Went through customs with no problems, took a cab to our respective hostels to check in and then we went out to breakfast. We ate at a cute little cafe with amazing food, and our waiter had such a thick accent we has no idea what he was saying. Plus we were sleep deprived and our brains weren't really functioning.

So we came up without plan for the day, since there is so much to see in Dublin. Our first stop was a trip to the Guinness factory. This was really fun and we got to learn how to pour our own pint of Guinness from the bar, and then of course we got to drink it. A picture of my very own perfect pint is below.

Our tour took the majority of the day, but after we went on a little walk to see the Dublin castle, St. Stephens green and the river that runs through the middle of the city.

After this walk we were all exhausted and decided to part ways to go back to our hostels. We told our American friend goodbye as we probably won't see him for the remainder of our trip.
We went back to our hostel and passed out because we were so exhausted. Tomorrow is the start of our bus tour around Ireland. Can't wait to kiss the Blarney stone!
