So we checked out of the hostel in Dublin and made our way to the airport to get on yet another very exciting Ryan air flight. Slept through this entire flight again to avoid them brainwashing me and getting me to buy something.
We landed in Birmingham and went through the easiest passport control I have seen yet. It was a great airport to fly into. After we collected all of our luggage we got on the train that would take us into Stratford upon Avon. It was a nice train ride, and for the first time in days we could actually feel the sun! It was such a weird feeling having to actually put sunscreen on.
We got to the train station in Stratford and it was still sunny. What?? We took a nice stroll over to the cutest little hotel we are staying at for the night. It was adorable and everything looked so British. It also had a tv which was nice since I haven't watched tv in like 2 weeks.
After we checked into the hotel We walked around the city in the beautiful weather. While it lasted. We saw the houses where Shakespeare lived in the beginning and end of his life and also the church where he is buried.
We also walked along the River Avon and some gardens where there are statues of Shakespeare and his works.
After the sightseeing we were getting hungry so we found a spot to stop to eat. We picked a cute little old thatched tavern. The inside was also cute and well decorated so we decided the food must be good. I finally ordered my fish and chips and they were delicious! So now I've tried all the food I wanted to so from here on I will be eating bread for every meal.
After dinner we went back to our adorable hotel to finalize our plans for the upcoming days. I also booked a tour of Stonehenge for this Sunday and I can't wait for it. Time to get some sleep so I can wake of refreshed for tomorrow!
