So I went on my nightly run this evening and I decided to spice it up a little bit and go on a different route. I passed by a middle school on the outskirts of town and saw some very unique mowing practices. A small fenced area with very tall grass was filled with about 100 goats. They all started staring at me when I went past so I had to go over and try to make a friend. Most of them just starred at me but I did get one little guy to come up to me. I was kind of afraid I was going to get my hand bitten off though.

How we mow our grass
I apologize so, so much for the blog! It's just been so boring since I got back from Europe and I have not had very exciting things going on in my Davis life. I am,however, starting to get more involved in the community and also am moving to the very center of downtown so I am going to get moving again!

This is actually quite common around Davis to use either sheep or goats for mowing, even in public parks. So don't be too shy to go up and say hi!
