Yolo Library

I have been going to the Yolo County library here in Davis pretty frequently recently, as I have a lot of time on my hands. The library was recently renovated and includes a lot of cool new features including these awesome book returns. You press a button and a little door opens to swallow up your book. Which is why I think its very fitting that someone has decorated the book return to look like a little monster.

I don't really know why these are necessary, but hey its pretty cool. The best feature is probably the self-check out stations that they now have. Similar to the ones at the grocery stores, except these actually work and you can avoid talking to a grumpy librarian. This library is a great place to go, you can sit and read magazines or books for hours as long as you can stand the weird people. And since it has recently been re-done everything looks new and clean and there is always plenty of seating.
