Recap: Studio 5

Studio 5 was the last official studio I have to take ever! This semester I am taking a thesis studio but it is a little bit different from our other studios. It was a little bit sad taking the final studio, but luckily I had one of my favorite professors ever and I ended up being very pleased with the work.

This is the first studio I have ever taken where I was a little bit sad for it to be over and I actually wanted to continue working on the project. My final review felt like really just the beginning and I was very inspired by some of the comments and what I had produced. That said it was one of the best final reviews ever and the jury members thankfully were very interested in the project.

I spent a lot of time drawing this semester obviously but the studio became a little bit more about the models for me. I spent a lot of time hand cutting all of my models and really like how some of them turned out. A few now reside in my permanent collection. The rest landed in the dumpster. Overall it was a great studio and I am very happy with my work. I just hope my thesis will end just as well if not better than this studio.
