Bangers and Mash

Today was our last full day in Ireland and we were very sad to have to say goodbye to our new friends! We woke up early to check out from the hostel and then had time to explore before our bus took us back to Dublin.

We walked around Galway with our friend from Quebec and went to the city museum. The museum was pretty cool and they had a lot of interesting archeological artifacts. After wasting a bunch of time there we did a little bit of shopping and then stopped for our lunch. My goal while in Ireland was to have some authentic bangers and mash so I finally ordered it for lunch. I was very disappointed though because it tasted a million times better back at my favorite Irish restaurant at home. I don't know if it was just the place we went or not, but I guess I don't need to come back to Ireland for the food.

After lunch we had to run back to our hostel to catch the bus and when we walked outside it was pouring down rain. Not just a little sprinkle, but buckets and buckets of water. People were talking shelter wherever they possibly could but we decided just to run for it and we were so soaked.

Made it on the bus and we went directly back to Dublin without stopping, so I didn't experience too much today. Once we returned and checked into our hostel I fell right to sleep. After four days of being on this tour and going out every night I was lacking in sleep and I was not feeling so great. Hopefully I will wake up refreshed and ready to go again because tomorrow we will get back on a plane and go to England!
